The United States should recalibrate the policy of rule of law, said Chris Marlin, president of Lennar International, adding that U.S. laws target certain kinds of countries and actors in a way that may appear to others as discriminatory.
National security legislation underpins the very survival of any country, and it is a common legal practice of all countries, Wang said.
The rise in cases has been blamed on the easing of lockdown regulations by authorities and non-compliance of prevention measures. The epidemic has flared up in some communities.
"China's door to dialogue remains open. We are willing, in the spirit of equality and open-mindedness, to talk and interact with the United States, and resume dialogue mechanisms at all levels and in all fields," said Wang.
Non-interference in other countries' internal affairs is a basic norm governing international relations, and no country will allow other countries to flagrantly sabotage its sovereignty or territorial integrity, said Wang.

The exchange of information including that of audit work papers should be conducted through regulatory cooperation channels, which is an internationally accepted common practice, the CSRC said. Enditem
"I believe that the U.S. actions aim to maintain its dominance in the world order" by pursuing unilateralism, he said.
"Foreign companies, including European ones, were part of the story of China's development, and we believe they will continue to be part of the successful story of China's development and win-win cooperation," he added.
"Resolving issues of common concern through dialogue is the only way to achieve win-win results," said the CSRC. "Only by doing so can a sound environment for the healthy and orderly operation of the global capital market be created."
